We just had our first day of school, acting as a teacher's assistant in a children's computer lab class. We helped teach students how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Most of our time was spent walking around the classroom helping students through some defined routines outlined by the teacher. It was an enlightening experience.
