Hello Tokyo!

Well, we finally made it safe and sound to Tokyo - after Haley's flight delay due to water in the fuel and a coyote running wild on the runway, and catching three trains, walking up three wrong roads, and having a young Japanese boy run the streets finding the correct alleyway for our hotel - the Homeikan Ryokan. We were introduced to the customs of Japanese culture, such as taking off shoes at the entry and wearing houseshoes provided by the hotel, toilets with 10 different buttons to spray water anywhere you want, and early curfews (tonight is 10:30pm). Fortunately, we found a beautiful hole-in-the-wall noodle house that spoke just enough English to fill our bellies. Now, we are exhausted and heading off to our beds, neatly prepared on the tatami mats on the floor.

Tomorrow we wake up early to head to the small village of Tsumago. Later on, Dudes!
